Our Story
The Peoples Foundation for Humanity Development is dedicated to empowering women and educating vulnerable children in Sierra Leone. Our commitment to our mission is unwavering, and we are proud of the work we do to make a difference in our community. Our journey began with a simple idea: that everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. Today, we continue to live out that idea by providing business skills and financial literacy training to women and girls through our Gender Program, building elementary schools, and running our Out-of-School Dropout program to serve previously unschooled villages. We believe that by working together, we can make a positive impact on the world.

Founder
Dr. Lauretta Will Sillah
As the CEO/Founder of Destiny Christian Academy (DCA) and Women in Ministry International (WIMI) in Sierra Leone, I have dedicated my life to improving the lives of those in need. My passion for education and women's empowerment led me to also establish The Peoples Foundation for Humanity Development (PeFoHD). I am responsible for providing executive leadership and strategic vision for all three organizations, ensuring that our long-term strategies are developed and executed by our team.
